$737,000.000 Recovery After Initial $0 Offer

After suffering serious injuries in a slip-and-fall accident in Phoenix, the client was initially told there was essentially no case. The insurance company initially offered $0. At the same time, the defense denied responsibility and refused to fairly compensate the claim despite the client’s injuries and the accident’s significant impact on the client’s life.

Because the at-fault driver had no insurance, the client’s recovery depended on the Uninsured Motorist/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) coverage available under her own auto policy. The client had made the important decision to carry that coverage. Elmm Law Group advocated for a $253,000.00 settlement and worked to eliminate or reduce multiple medical liens. After the firm completed medical bills and lien negotiations, the client received 61% of the settlement.
