Jeffrey T. Jones

After earning her Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Gordana “Gordi” Mikalacki, Esq., began her legal career as a Law Clerk for the Arizona Court of Appeals. In this formative role, she gained invaluable insight into the judicial decision-making process, learning firsthand how the framing and clarity of an attorney’s arguments can directly influence a case’s outcome. 

Gordi went on to serve as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona, where she represented the Arizona Department of Economic Security under three different Attorneys General. She acquired extensive courtroom and litigation experience during her tenure, advocating for one of Arizona’s largest state agencies and successfully managing complex legal matters. These years solidified her negotiation, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy skills. 

Building on this foundation, Gordi founded Elmm Law Group, where she now serves as the Founder and Managing Partner. Her firm is dedicated exclusively to representing clients in personal and catastrophic injury cases. Known for her exceptional written and oral advocacy, Gordi brings a strategic and compassionate approach to every case she handles. Her deep understanding of insurance company tactics and litigation strategy has made her a formidable advocate who consistently secures favorable client outcomes. Since launching Elmm Law Group, she has helped countless individuals and families navigate the complexities of the legal system and recover the compensation they deserve. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Gordi is committed to giving back to the community and advancing the legal profession. She actively supports local charitable initiatives and community service projects, including Elmm Law Group’s annual Backpack to the Future drive, giving backpacks filled with school supplies to local children in need. Additionally, Gordi participates in ongoing legal education programs and thought leadership events to remain at the forefront of developments in personal injury law. Gordi speaks to audiences about access to justice, effective advocacy, and best practices in representing injured clients. 

In her free time, Gordi enjoys spending quality time with her two children, traveling to new places, and exploring diverse cultures. She believes in the importance of lifelong learning, personally and professionally, and strives to use her platform to educate and empower others.
